Refund Policy
Repping.AI sells digital subscriptions and one-time coin packs. Because the value of each purchase is delivered instantly upon access, all sales are final by default. We do review hardship and billing-error cases on a case-by-case basis.
Plain-English summary
- All sales are final once digital access has been delivered.
- By completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the EU / UK 14-day right of withdrawal is extinguished upon first access.
- Refund requests outside statutory consumer rights are reviewed case-by-case at our sole discretion (typical turn-around: 7 days).
- Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
- Payment processing, invoicing, and chargebacks are handled by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record.
1. Subscriptions
Subscription fees are billed in advance for the upcoming billing cycle. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals — you retain access for the remainder of the current period, but the unused portion is not refunded. We do not pro-rate cancellations.
Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
2. Coin packs & one-time purchases
Coin packs (Small, Medium, Large) and other one-time purchases are credited to your account immediately on successful payment. Because the digital good is delivered in full at that moment, coin packs are non-refundable once the credit appears in your account balance.
Unused coins do not expire while your account remains in good standing. They are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred between accounts.
3. EU / UK consumers — right of withdrawal
Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) and the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content. However, that right ceases once performance has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost.
By clicking Subscribe, Buy, or any equivalent confirm button at checkout, you (a) expressly consent to Repping.AI starting performance of the digital service immediately, and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once we begin delivering the service to your account.
This carve-out does not limit any statutory remedy you have where the service fails to conform to the contract (for example, for material defects). Such cases are handled under the discretionary process in Section 4.
4. Discretionary refunds
Outside the statutory cases above, refund requests are evaluated case-by-case. We aim to be reasonable. Factors we consider include:
- billing error or duplicate charge on our side or our processor’s;
- provable inability to access the paid feature due to a documented Repping.AI outage;
- accidental purchase within 72 hours, where the feature was not materially used;
- hardship in genuinely exceptional circumstances.
Approval is at our sole discretion and is not a precedent for future requests. Decisions are final.
5. Non-refundable cases
We do not issue refunds where:
- the feature has been materially used after purchase (e.g. coins have been spent, scheduled posts have been published, AI compose has been used);
- the request is made because of a change of mind, perceived value, or unmet expectation that was disclosed before purchase;
- the account was suspended or terminated for breach of our Terms of Service or Polar’s Acceptable Use Policy;
- the request relates to third-party-platform behaviour outside our control (e.g. a connected social platform throttled or rejected a post);
- the request is made by someone other than the account holder of record.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@repping.ai within 7 days of the charge with:
- the registered account email,
- the Polar order or invoice id (visible in your Polar receipt and on Settings → Billing),
- a short description of the reason for the request.
We respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Polar to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
7. Merchant of record
Payments and refunds are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record. When a refund is approved, Polar is responsible for moving the funds back to your payment instrument; Repping.AI does not custody card data and cannot refund a charge directly. Polar may also, at its discretion, issue refunds independently within 60 days to prevent chargebacks or to comply with payment-network rules. Where Polar issues a refund without our prior approval we treat the issue as a goodwill matter and, where appropriate, suspend the corresponding service entitlement.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced with reasonable notice (typically by email or in-app banner) before they take effect. The version in force at the time you complete a purchase governs that transaction.
